Congratulations President Obama!

By JABG

I’m so proud of all of us. And I commend John McCain for a heartfelt concession speech that speaks of working together for the good of all of us. We have a lot of work ahead of us.

Peace out and in.

Good day to you, JABG. I want to thank you for all of your well-written words that I have had the opportunity to share with all of the Obama supporters and general just-get-out-and-vote campaigns here in Northern Nevada. I, as well as all of us, feel proud that we were able to contribute to this historic and momentous election. Hope at last! I look forward.

McCain was indeed a gentleman. I am very proud of the youth of America for voting and congrats P-EOTUS Obama!

Thanks Mykysue. Itt was won by a well-led team, a great candidate, and folks like us who wouldn’t stop. And yay Nevada!

And welcome Drunken Blogger! I keep hearing stories of all the kids who gave their hearts and energy. Gives me great hope.

Peace out and in to both of you! And just one more…WUHOOOOOOO!

This is a magical time. Barack has inherited a mess. I can’t think of a more thoughtful guy to take on the challenges. We are a better, stronger nation for his running for President and his victory. Thanks for all your support for Barack, JABG!! Democrat Dave

Ditto. Well said. And it’s been a real honor to be part of this effort and meet so many terrific, caring people – like you.

Yes, McCain’s concession speech was really spectacular. I felt like we got to see the ol’ John McCain again. He had some important messages in that speech, and really did the right thing by trying to get the country to come together.

Thanks culturepress. Glad you came to visit. I was planning to stop by and say thank you and good-bye as I let this blog rest. I only started blogging after the other side’s campaign became so offensive to me. But the added benefit was meeting wonderful bloggers like you and all the others whom I truly believe helped make the Obama win possible.

What an amazing time we live in. I only pray the people who didn’t vote for Obama decide that no matter who won, we face serious problems and it’s now time for us to join together to find solutions – and not spend much energy rehashing the past. On a personal note, I’m starting to think about where to turn my efforts now to help assure we all have a better life. Theres’ so much to be done and it will involve people from all sides of the aisle to make it possible.

It’s been an honor “working with” you. I promise to still stop by and see what you’re up to. ;-)

    Peace out and in.

Oh I’m going to miss you so much! I understand, though, because I too started a blog solely as a response to the frightening McPalin campaign. I had also intended to ‘dispose’ of my blog once the election was over. I’m finding that I do like blogging. It’s just so hard to keep up with it, and I know we all have a million things to do outside our blogs! :)

We all did some great work to share information and ’spread the word’ amidst the election (and bailout) drama. Thanks for doing your part, JABG!

And yes, it would be so great to hear from you from time to time :)

    Take good care of yourself!

I had no idea that this was the end! I thought that this was only the beginning – Mr. Obama has a huge task ahead of him, but I am confident that he is up to the challenge. JABG – your wise words and dedication have been an inspiration.

Thanks to you both. You helped keep me going! Glad your voices will still be heard. Mine will be too in one way or another. And you are so right, mykysue…it’s only just beginning and I will be part of it, just probably not here. Although I’m sure if I need to speak out, I won’t be shy! ;-)

Best to you both. Will definitely drop by every now and then to see what you’re up to.
